Integrative haplotype and SNP-based GWAS supports the identification of stable genomic loci controlling yield-related traits in soybean

Soybean yield is vulnerable to environmental variation, therefore, it is important to detect and implement stable genomic regions associated with yield-related traits in soybean breeding programs. In this study, SNP and haplotype-based GWAS were conducted to reveal important candidate genomic regions and putative candi...

Genome wide association mapping and haplotype analysis identify genetic loci and candidate genes associated with yield related traits in rice (Oryza sativa L.)

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of the most important staple crops worldwide, and improving grain yield remains a major objective of rice breeding programs. Yield is a complex quantitative trait influenced by multiple agronomic characteristics, including grain yield per plant (GY), seed setting rate (SSR), plant height (...

Natural variation in GmSOP5 regulates seed oil and protein content during soybean domestication.

A genome-wide association study of 429 diverse soybean accessions identified Seed Oil and Protein 5 (SOP5), which encodes a kinesin protein, as a key locus associated with seed oil and protein content and shed light on soybean domestication.
