Mesoporous Iron-Doped Graphene and Silica Nanocarriers for Targeted Modulation of Ferroptosis during Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition

Gene expression studies revealed that these nanocarriers promote cell death through oxidative stress-mediated pathways, with excessive ROS generation consistent with ferroptosis associated mechanism of cell death, thereby linking ferroptosis- associated responses with inhibition of tumor progression.
