Aldosterone-renin ratio and plasma renin activity as biomarkers for treatment response in resistant hypertension

It is suggested that renin–aldosterone profiling may help identify biological heterogeneity in treatment and warrant prospective evaluation as a candidate tool for treatment selection in resistant hypertension.
