Concentration-Dependent Regulation of Growth and Development by Calliterpenone through Hormonal Crosstalk in Arabidopsis thaliana.

Plant growth and development are governed by intricate hormonal networks that integrate environmental and endogenous signals. Plant growth regulators can be natural or synthetic chemical compounds that mimic hormonal regulation to alter plant growth and development. Here, we identify Calliterpenone (CT), a tetracyclic...

The miPEP408-miR408 module regulates plant susceptibility to Rhizoctonia solani through LAC3-mediated lignin deposition in Arabidopsis.

Plant microRNAs (miRNAs) function as critical regulators of various developmental and physiological processes by downregulating the expression of their target genes. miRNA-encoded peptides (miPEPs) represent an additional regulatory layer by enhancing the transcription of their cognate miRNAs. . Although miPEP408 has b...

Complementary Peptide-Mediated Anthocyanin Accumulation Restricts Pseudomonas oryzihabitans CB24 Colonization.

A PAP2‐targeting complementary peptide (cPEP) enhances anthocyanin accumulation and restricts Pseudomonas oryzihabitans CB24 colonization, demonstrating a rapid, transgene‐free strategy for manipulating plant metabolism and microbiome interactions.

AtMYB11/12/111 transcription factors regulate nicotine biosynthesis and enhance defense responses in tobacco.

It is demonstrated that the Arabidopsis R2R3-MYB transcription factors AtMYB11, AtMYB12, and AtMYB111 function as positive regulators of nicotine biosynthesis in tobacco for the first time and highlights their potential for metabolic engineering of nicotine content and stress resilience in tobacco.

Multi-Omics Dissection Reveals the Central Regulator NtHY5 Rewires Primary and Secondary Metabolism to Strengthen Biotic and Abiotic Stress Defences in Nicotiana Tabacum.

Findings establish HY5 as a critical coordinator of metabolic and defence networks, providing mechanistic insight into how light-responsive transcriptional regulation shapes plant stress resilience and offering targets for engineering stress-tolerant crops.
