Segment-resolved assessment of hydration effects on liver water-specific T1 in comparison with T1-MOLLI and transient elastography

Liver wT1 is physiologically modulated by hydration and exhibits spatial heterogeneity across liver segments, even in the healthy liver, and underscores the importance of whole-liver, segment-resolved wT1 mapping and physiological standardization when interpreting quantitative liver MRI.

CMR-based aortic stiffness parameters in a symptomatic high risk obstructive sleep apnea cohort: results from the population-based Hamburg City Health Study

Aortic stiffness (AS) parameters as pulse wave velocity (PWV), aortic distensibility of the ascending and descending aorta (AD AoAsc, AD AoDesc) and pulse pressure (PP) are marker for vascular ageing, whereas data concerning obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in population-based cohorts are sparse. Thus, we aimed to identif...

Big, Bright, or Invisible: A Frozen-Feature Benchmark of 3D CT Foundation Models

Through controlled within-organ comparisons, it is empirically demonstrate that widespread or high-contrast abnormalities, such as devices and effusions, are reliably recovered and small, low-contrast focal lesions remain a persistent challenge across all evaluated encoders.

It depends: Incorporating correlations for joint aleatoric and epistemic uncertainties of high-dimensional output spaces

This paper proposes a novel approach that approximates the resulting joint uncertainty using a low-rank plus diagonal covariance structure, capturing essential output correlations while avoiding the computational burdens of full covariance matrices.
