Construction and Immunogenicity of a Recombinant Pseudorabies Virus Expressing the Major Neutralizing Epitopes A and D of Transmissible Gastroenteritis Virus Spike Protein
A recombinant virus called rPRV-AD is built that carries key bits of the transmissible gastroenteritis virus (TGEV) spike protein that exhibited lower protective efficacy against TGEV than a commercial vaccine, while comparable protective observations were obtained against pseudorabies.
