Resveratrol mitigates radiation-induced oxidative stress and tissue injury in rats: potential involvement of the Nrf2-ARE antioxidant pathway.

It is suggested that RES might mitigate IR-induced oxidative stress, inflammatory responses, and tissue injury in rats, and the protective effects are associated with modulation of antioxidant- and inflammation-related gene expression at the transcriptional level.

Hemifusomes and proteolipid nanodroplets: a critical synthesis of an emerging model for endosomal membrane remodeling

Vesicular membrane trafficking is central to eukaryotic homeostasis, governing receptor downregulation, lysosomal degradation, and intercellular communication via exosomes. These processes are classically explained by SNARE-mediated fusion and ESCRT-dependent membrane remodeling, which together define current models of...

Hepatoprotective Effects of Nigella sativa and Thymoquinone: Modulation of CYP450 Enzymes and Cytochrome c Reductase in CCl4-Induced Hepatotoxicity.

The observed effects indicate that CCl4-induced liver injury is accompanied by broad CYP450 dysregulation, and that Ns and TQ provide significant protection by restoring enzymatic balance and mitochondrial function.
