BIM and Construction Integration
Abstract
This study investigated the factors hindering the adoption of Building Information Modelling
(BIM) and its impact on project delivery in high-rise building construction within selected cities.
Using data collected from construction professionals and analyzed through descriptive statistics,
Relative Importance Index (RII), the study found that although awareness of BIM is relatively high,
adoption remains limited due to high software costs, inadequate training, poor ICT infrastructure,
and lack of government regulation. While solutions such as subsidizing BIM tools, capacity
building, and educational integration were identified as effective, the hypothesis test revealed no
significant relationship between the factors hindering BIM adoption and the effectiveness of the
proposed solutions. The study concludes that a coordinated approach involving government policy
support, professional training, and investment in digital infrastructure is essential to achieving
sustainable BIM implementation and enhancing project delivery efficiency in high-rise
construction projects.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

The results show that the embedded industry has been able to apply agile methods in its development processes and that the appreciation of the agile methods and their individual practices appears to increase once adopted and applied in practice.

Requirements in large systems rarely exist in isolation. Their meaning depends on the wider project context - other requirements, policies, decisions, tests, and implementation details. That becomes especially important when AI is used for review, because spotting a possible conflict or gap is only the beginning. ReqSpace explores how AI, visualisation, and connected project context can help reviewers understand those findings, trace the relationships behind them, and focus on the questions that…
