CIP has been shown to improve the quality of library services at Tridinanti University, however, its sustainability requires improvements in the form of regular training, stronger technical support, the development of user guides, and the development of features to better meet needs.
Abstract
Background of the Study: Advances in information technology have transformed library services into digital systems. Tridinanti University Library has adopted the CIP system to manage collections, circulation, and member data, but evaluation is needed to ensure optimal utilization.
Objectives: The aim was to evaluate the performance of CIP using the HOT-Fit model, which encompasses People, Organization, and Technology.
Method: Qualitative methods with a descriptive approach were used. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and observations of librarians and library staff as system users.
Finding: From a people perspective, CIP helps speed up work and improve librarian effectiveness, but feature utilization remains low due to limited training. From an organizational perspective, the tools and work structure are supportive, but coordination, CIP usage policies, and training programs are still suboptimal. From a technological perspective, CIP is quite user-friendly and capable of displaying collection information, but challenges exist such as dependence on a central server, limited search features, and the lack of written guidelines.
Conclusion: CIP has been shown to improve the quality of library services at Tridinanti University. However, its sustainability requires improvements in the form of regular training, stronger technical support, the development of user guides, and the development of features to better meet needs.
The web-based information system successfully replaces manual record-keeping at TPA Al-Jami' and bridges the information gap between teachers and parents in supporting children's Quranic education.

This study aims to develop a web-based Management Information System for the Bina Eksel Mandiri Course and Training Institute to improve administrative efficiency and enhance service quality for both participants and institutional administrators. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and literature reviews to identify system requirements and existing administrative challenges. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, consisting of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The resulting system integrates the management of participant data, instructor information, training schedules, attendance records, assessment results, and activity reports into a single web-based platform that is easily accessible and user-friendly. System functionality was evaluated using Black Box Testing, which demonstrated that all features operated successfully according to user requirements without significant errors. The implementation of the system improved administrative efficiency, accelerated data processing and storage, minimized recording errors, and enhanced the quality of institutional services. Overall, the developed management information system provides an effective, integrated, accurate, and sustainable solution for supporting administrative management and improving operational performance at the training institution.
The development of information technology has provided convenience in supporting training activities and competency evaluation within companies. Training is one of the important activities carried out to improve participants’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in accordance with organizational needs. To determine the success of training, an evaluation process is required to measure participants’ level of understanding of the material that has been delivered. Based on observations conducted at a company, the training evaluation process still requires a more structured, interactive, and user-friendly medium. The company’s identity is not directly disclosed due to its confidentiality policy; therefore, the research object in this article is referred to as Company X. The system is designed to support question management, quiz library, quiz implementation through QR Code, quiz result presentation, question discussion, and leaderboard features. The purpose of this study is to produce a prototype design that can serve as an initial reference for developing a web-based training evaluation system that is more modern, structured, interactive, and suitable for user needs.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the Accounting Information System (AIS) in supporting customer service processes in the Customer Service department at PT Bank Sumsel Babel Syariah Capem Muhammadiyah Palembang, as well as to identify technical obstacles and their handling efforts. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach through direct observation during the internship period. The results show that the implementation of the AS/400 platform-based AIS has been carried out systematically and structurally, becoming the operational backbone that supports speed and accuracy in customer service, as well as reflecting the application of Sharia accountability principles (shidiq, amanah, fathanah). However, the effectiveness of the system still faces operational obstacles, namely network fluctuations, a text-based interface that is less intuitive for new staff, and queue buildup during peak seasons. Handling efforts include temporary manual procedures, mentoring programs by senior staff, and queue flow optimization. Overall, the AIS has contributed positively to service efficiency, although improvements in network infrastructure stability and human resource competency development are needed to optimize system performance in the future.

Student data management systems in early childhood education institutions often still rely on conventional paper-based approaches, a situation that potentially hampers the overall effectiveness of administrative services. This study aims to evaluate the student information administration system at TK Harapan Sejahtera, Garut, using the PIECES analytical framework encompassing Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service dimensions. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with four teachers who simultaneously perform administrative functions, and documentation study. The findings reveal several interrelated structural barriers: searching data for 46 active students requires 8–12 minutes per transaction due to reliance on physical archives; monthly attendance recapitulation consumes 1–2 hours of teachers' time outside teaching hours; and routine expenditures for administrative consumables reach Rp150,000–Rp250,000 per month. The absence of dedicated administrative staff forces teachers to bear a dual burden that diminishes the quality of lesson preparation. From a data security perspective, there are no adequate backup mechanisms or access controls, leaving physical archives vulnerable to damage and loss. Based on these findings, this study recommends a phased and realistic digitalization approach, including the use of structured spreadsheets, cloud-based storage, digital communication with parents, and technology training for teaching staff. Implementation of these recommendations is projected to reduce data retrieval time by more than 80% and improve the quality of information services to school stakeholders.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of public complaint service policy through the National Public Service Complaint Management System–Online People's Aspirations and Complaints Service (SP4N-LAPOR!) at the Communication, Informatics, Statistics, and Encryption Office of Banten Province. The study is motivated by the importance of delivering transparent, responsive, and accountable public services through the utilization of information technology as a platform for citizens to submit aspirations and complaints. However, the implementation of SP4N-LAPOR! continues to face several challenges, including limited public participation, suboptimal coordination among regional government agencies, inadequate human resources, and uneven understanding of complaint management procedures among public officials. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation and analyzed using an interactive analysis model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The analysis of policy implementation was based on George C. Edward III's implementation theory, covering communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The findings indicate that the implementation of SP4N-LAPOR! in Banten Province has been generally effective, supported by the availability of a digital complaint management system and inter-agency coordination. Nevertheless, further improvements are required through strengthening the capacity of public officials, expanding public awareness and outreach, enhancing institutional coordination, and optimizing the use of information technology to improve the quality, responsiveness, and accountability of public service delivery.
