Abstract
LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English. The deep integration of artificial intelligence into social life, while bringing efficiency and convenience, has triggered an unprecedented crisis of trust. This crisis is not only manifested in the opacity of information associated with algorithmic black boxes; it reaches deeper into the fundamental structure of human interaction. Trust is a psychological and moral phenomenon rooted in intersubjectivity, whereas artificial intelligence, as a non-human actor, possesses neither genuine intentionality nor the capacity for emotion or responsibility. Trustworthiness (xin) is one of the core virtues of Confucianism, which situates trust within the existential foundation of the human ethical order. This paper begins with the Confucian meaning of xin and analyses the challenges that artificial intelligence poses to the trust structure of human relationships: the dissolution of dual subjectivity eliminates the mutuality of trustworthiness, human–machine dependency erodes the interpersonal psychological foundation, and the normative power of ritual (li) proves inadequate in regulating human–machine interactions. At the root of these challenges is the machine’s lack of subjectivity, of psychological mechanisms, and of the capacity to endow meaning through emotion. The Confucian ethical response is not to simply reject technology but rather, under the value premise of ‘human-centredness’, to strictly distinguish human–machine relations from human–human relations, and to attempt to construct a ‘human–machine ritual’ that differs from traditional interpersonal ritual propriety. The theoretical significance of this construction lies in offering, from the perspective of cultural values, a non-Western-centric ethical framework for trustworthy human–machine relationships.
GAOKAO-Bench is introduced, an intuitive benchmark that employs questions from the Chinese GAOKAO examination as test samples, including both subjective and objective questions that contribute a robust evaluation benchmark for future large language models and offers valuable insights into the advantages and limitations...

This work investigates the possibilities of using LLMs in a resume screening setting via a document retrieval framework that simulates job candidate selection and finds that the MTEs are biased, significantly favoring White-associated names in 85% of cases and female-associated names in only 11.1% of cases.
This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the Ultralytics YOLO family, emphasizing architectural evolution, benchmarking, deployment, and emerging directions from YOLOv5 through YOLO27, and examines detection, segmentation, depth, classification, pose, oriented detection, tracking, export, quantization, and deplo...
This work revisits schema linking when using the latest generation of large language models (LLMs) and finds empirically that newer models are adept at utilizing relevant schema elements during generation even in the presence of large numbers of irrelevant ones.

A novel threat is unveiled in which attackers steer the RAG system's response by injecting malicious passages into its knowledge base, enabling the attacker to steer the response without altering the user input or modifying the RAG weights.

Empirically, PRISM reduces the end-to-end time for data selection and model tuning to just 30% of conventional pipelines, and achieves this efficiency while simultaneously enhancing performance, surpassing models fine-tuned on the full dataset across eight multimodal and three language understanding benchmarks.
