The proposed approach improves operational awareness, supports predictive maintenance, and enhances overall system reliability, as well as enabling real-time telemetry acquisition, anomaly detection, and predictive analysis while reducing communication latency and computational load on central servers.

Abstract

Topicality. The rapid development of Industry 4.0 technologies has significantly increased the demand for intelligent monitoring systems capable of collecting, processing, and analyzing large volumes of industrial telemetry data in real time. Traditional monitoring solutions often suffer from limited scalability, delayed data processing, and insufficient integration between hardware and software components. The subject of study is methods and architectures for developing hardware-software complexes for intelligent monitoring of industrial systems using Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The purpose of the article is to develop an architecture of an integrated monitoring complex that combines sensor networks, edge computing, and centralized analytical services to improve the efficiency, reliability, and responsiveness of industrial monitoring processes. The following results were obtained. A multi-layer architecture of an intelligent monitoring system was proposed, including the sensing layer, communication layer, edge processing layer, cloud platform, and analytical subsystem. The proposed architecture enables real-time telemetry acquisition, anomaly detection, and predictive analysis while reducing communication latency and computational load on central servers. Conclusion. The integration of IoT devices, edge computing technologies, and intelligent data processing methods provides a scalable and efficient platform for monitoring industrial equipment and technological processes. The proposed approach improves operational awareness, supports predictive maintenance, and enhances overall system reliability.
