The optimized nanoemulsion-based in situ gel demonstrated sustained drug release, enhanced nasal permeation, acceptable safety, and improved antidepressant efficacy and Pharmacodynamic evaluation showed significantly greater reduction in depressive-like behaviours than oral escitalopram solution.
Findings suggest that the proposed delivery system represents a promising strategy for improving the ocular bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy of fluconazole in the treatment of fungal eye infections.

Quetiapine fumarate is a second-generation antipsychotic with limited oral bioavailability owing to extensive hepatic first-pass metabolism, making it a suitable candidate for intranasal brain delivery. This study aimed to develop a quetiapine fumarate-loaded nanosponge in-situ gel for sustained and enhanced brain deli...

Background/Objectives: Solid self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery systems (SNEDDS) prepared by adsorption onto porous carriers are widely used to improve the oral delivery of poorly water-soluble drugs. However, this approach is limited by increased dosing volume and incomplete drug release. This study aims to develop a...
