Abstract
Organizations, in order to remain resilient against turbulent environmental conditions and to adapt to competitive requirements, have no alternative but to create and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage. The purpose of the present study is to examine the impact of green supply chain management practices on sustainable development goals (case study: Foundry Sand Supply Company). The statistical population of the study consisted of all employees of the Foundry Sand Supply Company, totaling 200 individuals, from whom a sample of 100 participants was selected based on the Cochran formula. The sampling method was random. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and the research hypotheses were tested through structural equation modeling. The results indicated that the more effectively the company applies eco-design practices and employs environmentally friendly energy resources in the production process to control environmental risks, the better it can enhance organizational efficiency and productivity.
As environmental consciousness is growing, the concept of sustainability has become increasingly central to business strategies across sectors. Organizations are required to implement environmental-friendly practices and to develop sustainable strategies not just for the health of the environment but also for sustaining the industry for the future. The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the influence of green supply chain management on sustainability development. Questionnaire was used to collect data from 250 customers of sachet water producing companies in Onitsha, Anambra State, while Regression Analysis was used to analyze the data with the aid of SPSS version 23. The results of the hypothesis testing showed that green supply chain management has a positive influence on sustainability development. The study recommends that since green chain management has a positive influence on sustainability development, businesses should develop a clear strategy for adopting green supply chain management, invest in the necessary resources and technology and build a culture of sustainability within the organization. Policymakers should provide incentives and support to encourage businesses to adopt green supply chain management.

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of green supply chain management on organizational sustainability, where technology innovation and environmental performance are taken as mediating factors. The focus of this study was on the increasing need for better protection of the environment and the increasing demands of the sustainable development of industries, especially in developing countries, where there are limited empirical data available on sustainability activities. The collected sample comprised 387 managers and technologists from Libyan manufacturing companies using a survey instrument and a stratified random sampling technique. Validity scales were used, and the measurements were done using the five-point Likert scale. The data analysis involved the use of PLS-SEM, where SmartPLS 4.0 was used. It entailed the analysis of the measurement model as well as the structural model, with the bootstrapping being done for 5000 samples. The findings show that GSCM significantly affects the OS. Specifically, it has a positive impact on environmental performance (EP) and technological innovation (TI), which, in turn, enhance the OS. Among the mediating factors, the EP was found to be the strongest predictor and mediator of the OS, followed by TI. The developed model proved to have a high explanatory power, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.660. Thus, the integration of GSCM with innovation and environmental activities can lead to the successful achievement of sustainability objectives among manufacturing enterprises. The study’s limitations are associated with its cross-sectional design and its focus on managers. Future research could employ longitudinal designs and examine other contexts, such as digital transformation, the institutional environment, and the organizational culture.

Green supply chain management (GSCM) has become a strategic requirement for industrial firms seeking to reduce environmental harm while improving long-term sustainability performance. Despite growing interest in green procurement, eco-design, green manufacturing, and green distribution, limited empirical evidence explains how these practices are converted into sustainability performance through collaborative environmental action in the Sultanate of Oman. Guided by the Natural Resource-Based View, this study examines the effects of four GSCM practices on environmental collaboration and investigates the mediating role of environmental collaboration in the relationship between GSCM practices and sustainability performance. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted among procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain professionals working in Omani industries. From 520 questionnaires distributed, 342 valid responses were retained for analysis. The data were analyzed using Smart PLS 4.0 and partial least squares structural equation modelling. The measurement model demonstrated acceptable reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. The structural results show that eco-design, green procurement, green manufacturing, and green distribution have significant positive effects on environmental collaboration. Environmental collaboration, in turn, has a strong positive effect on sustainability performance. The indirect effects also support the mediation of the relationships between the GSCM practices and the sustainability performance, confirming the mediation chain. The results indicated that green practices are not enough; they have to be integrated with the collaboration of suppliers, customers, logistics and other functions within the company to make green practices produce results in terms of performance. The study adds to GSCM and sustainability literature by providing a relational mechanism that determines the contribution of green practices to the industrial sustainability of the Oman context.

In the modern era, attention to performance considering the environmental impacts of industrial activities has become one of the most important priorities for organizations and governments. Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM), as an innovative approach within supply chain management, plays a pivotal role in reducing negative environmental effects and enhancing organizational performance. This study presents a comprehensive model of green supply chain management practices, analyzing the role of behavioral perspectives in improving performance. In the first phase, a qualitative research design and content analysis method were employed to identify effective behavioral practices of green supply chain management aimed at improving performance through a systematic review of relevant articles. In the next phase, a quantitative approach utilizing the Delphi method was conducted to validate the identified behavioral practices of green supply chain management that contribute to performance enhancement. Finally, the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method was applied to classify the effective behavioral practices of green supply chain management for performance improvement, and the causal and dependent relationships among these behavioral factors were determined. The findings indicate that factors such as training and empowerment of members, risk-taking, top management support, government legitimization, corporate social responsibility, beliefs and values, as well as commitment and acceptance of the green supply chain, have the strongest direct impacts.

Sustainability has become a mission critical goal for organizations, especially in the context of supply chains where data on the environment are important in the management of carbon emissions, resources and regulatory compliance. While more and more companies have access to environmental information and more and more ESG reporting frameworks, it's hard for many companies to translate sustainability information into concrete actions. This gap indicates that other than data availability, other factors might influence decision making towards sustainable development. This research aims at understanding how cognitive biases, organizational pressure and the problem of information overload affect sustainable decision-making of supply chain practitioners. The study has been targeted towards employees from Malaysia's Manufacturing & Logistics industry. Data will be gathered from 384 respondents, who have relevant experience in SC decision making and have access to environmental information, using purposive sampling. This research aims to determine if there is a gap between the maximum possible and actual use of environmental information for supply chain decision-making purposes due to other limitations such as psychological and organizational factors. The findings make an impact on the sustainability and supply chain management literature as they provide insights into the obstacles facing firms to translate environmental knowledge into sustainable actions. The findings could help organisations and policymakers create more robust decision-support systems and sustainability initiatives to improve performance in the long run of their supply chains.
