A digital solution in the form of a web-based equipment loan monitoring application integrated with Quick Response (QR) Code scanning technology, which has been quantitatively proven to reduce service times from an average of 3 to 5 minutes to seconds per transaction, while minimizing the risk of inaccurate school asset data.
The data collection and borrowing process of goods at the Department of Information Technology, Samarinda State Polytechnic, which is still carried out manually, results in slow services and is prone to errors in data recording. This research aims to design and build a QR Code-based inventory website to overcome the problems at the Department of Information Technology. The system was built and developed using the PHP programming language, the Laravel framework, a MySQL database, and utilizes Filament as an admin panel, following the Waterfall model consisting of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The main features of this system include item data management, borrowing, returns, procurement, PDF report printing, low-stock notifications, and QR Code integration to accelerate item identification. Functional testing using the Blackbox Testing method across all website function scenarios shows that the system operates as required and achieves a 100% success rate. The research results show that the system is proven to improve work efficiency, minimize recording errors in data collection, and support transparency in asset management within the department environment.

The development of information technology has significantly influenced various fields, including education. SDN Cipayung 01 still uses a manual student attendance system that relies on attendance books, requiring considerable time and risking recording errors. Based on these problems, a web-based student attendance information system using QR Code with automatic report features was developed. The system was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, accessible through a web browser. Students simply scan their QR Code to record attendance, which is then automatically saved to the database. Testing results show that the QR Code-based attendance system reduces attendance time from 10-15 minutes to 2-5 minutes per class, achieving approximately 66% time efficiency. All system features performed successfully in functional testing, including login, QR scanning, student data management, daily recaps, monthly reports, and CSV export.
Daily production data recording at PT Daw Son Indonesia is currently carried out using paper-based media and manual spreadsheets, leading to information delays, human error risks, and a lack of real-time monitoring. This study aims to design and develop a web-based, integrated production reporting information system to support tactical management decision-making. The system development explicitly utilized the Prototype method, emphasizing an iterative cycle with users to ensure functional alignment. The application was developed using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. Functional testing was performed using the Black Box Testing method in a standardized environment. The test results demonstrated a system success rate of 94.44% (17 out of 18 scenarios met), where role-based authentication modules, production data management (CRUD), automated achievement calculations, and security protection against SQL Injection and XSS vulnerabilities functioned optimally according to specifications. Overall, this information system is declared highly feasible for implementation to enhance operational efficiency, guarantee daily data accuracy, and accelerate manufacturing trend monitoring at PT Daw Son Indonesia.

PT Rachmat Kelantan Sakti is a company engaged in heavy equipment rental services to support construction and infrastructure development activities. The data management process for equipment rental is still carried out manually using notebooks and Microsoft Excel, causing delays in data retrieval, transaction recording errors, difficulties in monitoring heavy equipment, and unintegrated operational reporting. This research aims to design and develop a web-based Heavy Equipment Rental Management Information System using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. The XP method was chosen because it supports fast, flexible, and user-oriented software development. The system was developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The system features include customer management, heavy equipment data, rental transactions, maintenance, operational monitoring, vendors, invoices, and company reports. The results show that the developed system can improve data management effectiveness, accelerate information retrieval, simplify operational monitoring, and reduce transaction recording errors. Based on Black Box Testing, all system features function properly according to user requirements.
This research aims to design and develop a QR Code-based attendance information system for lecturers and students in the Information Systems Study Program at Universitas PGRI Silampari using PHP and MySQL. The system was developed to overcome problems associated with the existing manual attendance process, including recording errors, delays in data processing, and the potential for attendance data manipulation. The system was developed using the Prototype development method, which consists of requirements analysis, prototype design, evaluation, refinement, implementation, and system testing. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all system functions operated according to user requirements. The test results indicated that all system features, including user login, lecturer and student data management, QR Code generation, attendance recording, and attendance report generation, functioned successfully with a 100% success rate. Therefore, the developed system is considered valid and capable of improving the efficiency and accuracy of attendance management, simplifying attendance monitoring, and supporting faster, more accurate, and well-structured report generation.
