Abstract
Aiming at the shortcomings of real-time, reliability and expansibility of data acquisition system in low temperature test environment of LNG ship, a multi-level data edge acquisition system based on Internet of things and edge computing is proposed. The system constructs a hierarchical architecture of perception layer, edge computing layer, network transmission layer and application layer, and realizes the collaborative collection of multi-source data through multi-type sensors. The data preprocessing mechanism is introduced on the edge side to perform filtering denoising, frequency domain feature extraction and compression processing on the collected data to reduce data redundancy and improve processing efficiency. In the communication layer, the lightweight publish / subscribe mode is adopted to realize the unified access and reliable transmission of multi-protocol devices. Based on the constructed low-temperature test platform, the performance of the system in steady-state operation, dynamic disturbance and weak network environment is verified. The experimental results show that the proposed system can control the end-to-end transmission delay within 200 ms, the data integrity rate reaches more than 99.5 %, and the data transmission volume is reduced by about 65 % ~ 70 %. The system can effectively improve the ability of low temperature test data acquisition and processing, and provide technical support for the safety assessment and intelligent development of LNG carrier.
The proposed approach improves operational awareness, supports predictive maintenance, and enhances overall system reliability, as well as enabling real-time telemetry acquisition, anomaly detection, and predictive analysis while reducing communication latency and computational load on central servers.
