Abstract
FINDING: Antichiral edge modes in topological semimetals violate the usual bulk-edge correspondence — two copropagating edge channels with opposite velocities emerge from a Chern-number-carrying bulk, characterized via transfer matrix eigenvalues. | MATH: The key structure is the transfer matrix \( T(k_x) \) across the finite-width strip; its eigenvalues \( \lambda_n \) encode edge localization. For antichiral modes, the edge dispersion is \( E_\pm(k_x) = \pm v (k_x - \pi) \) (from the German-language source, with \( v \) the Fermi velocity), and the Chern number \( C \) is computed via the standard TKNN formula \( C = \frac{1}{2\pi i}\int_{BZ} \mathrm{Tr}[P \, dP \wedge dP] \), where \( P \) is the spectral projector. The Qi-Wu-Zhang model on a square lattice has Hamiltonian \( H(\mathbf{k}) = \sin k_x \sigma_x + \sin k_y \sigma_y + (m + \cos k_x + \cos k_y)\sigma_z \); the Haldane honeycomb model adds complex next-nearest-neighbor hopping \( t_2 e^{i\phi} \). This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.
P. Abrahamsson, O. Salo, Jussi Ronkainen et al.· arXiv.org· 727 citations· ⚡54
The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

The results indicate that software engineering work practices are chosen opportunistically, adapted and configured to provide value under the constrains imposed by the startup context.

The perception of the impact of agile methods is predominantly positive, and several challenge areas were discovered, but based on this study, agile methods are here to stay.
