Abstract

This paper focuses on the collaborative optimization of wind-solar-storage systems in smart grids under multi-time scales, systematically expounding its core connotation, technical principles, research progress and development trends. Firstly, it defines the classification and application characteristics of multi-time scales in power systems, and clarifies the basic objectives and constraint conditions of wind-solar-storage collaborative optimization. Then, it reviews the research progress of short-term real-time control, medium-term scheduling coordination and long-term capacity planning, summarizing the technical paths to solve the uncertainty of renewable energy output. Aiming at the key challenges such as prediction error, coordination mechanism and economic benefit, corresponding improvement strategies are put forward. The results show that multi-time-scale collaborative optimization can effectively improve the consumption capacity of clean energy and the stability of power grid operation. It is pointed out that interdisciplinary integration and technological innovation should be strengthened in the future to adapt to the large-scale grid connection of high-penetration renewable energy, so as to further enhance system efficiency and boost the low-carbon transformation of global energy systems.
