Abstract
This paper presents a novel CPO-PID control strategy for suppressing unbalanced vibration in 4-DOF Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) systems. A dynamic model of the AMB-rotor system is established, and the Crested Porcupine Optimizer (CPO) is employed to optimize feedforward compensation parameters for a conventional PID controller. This approach generates precise counteracting currents to neutralize synchronous disturbance forces. A MATLAB/Simulink co-simulation platform is developed for validation. Comparative results demonstrate that the CPO-PID controller achieves superior vibration suppression, reducing peak displacement by 26% compared to the uncontrolled case. It also outperforms benchmark GA-PID and BAS-PID controllers in terms of settling time and overshoot. Robustness analysis under parameter variations confirms the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed strategy for high-speed rotating machinery.
This paper addresses lateral vibration suppression for heavy vehicles using a single-degree-of-freedom model equipped with dual-motor counter-rotating centrifugal actuators. Three control strategies are developed under varying information constraints. Under full-state feedback, a feedforward-feedback Linear Quadratic R...
