A Novel Distributed Cooperative Dynamic Feedback Control of Low-Inertia Cyber-Physical Microgrids
Abstract
To address the trade-off among different transient performances in secondary control of low-inertia cyber-physical microgrids, a novel distributed secondary control framework with high-efficiency dynamic feedback gain is proposed in this paper. Specifically, we introduce a module termed the hybrid integrator (HI) into the design of distributed control protocols to enable dynamic feedback of distributed errors, thereby forming an HI-based dynamic-feedback secondary control framework for cyber-physical microgrids and improving control performance. Before conducting the stability analysis of the proposed control protocols using Lyapunov stability theory, two lemmas describing the properties of hybrid integrators are presented. Subsequently, concise and less conservative parameter conditions are derived using Lyapunov stability theory. OPAL-RT-based real-time simulation results demonstrate that, compared with existing methods, the proposed approach reduces control-effort fluctuation and achieves faster convergence, smaller overshoot, and satisfactory robustness under real-time execution.
