Abstract

The glucose concentration in the range from 111-330 mg/dl represents a diabetic patient. it causes physical impairment of vital organs. presently, non-invasive blood glucose monitoring device that uses the blood dielectric and impedance properties is becoming popular for diabetes detection. a realistic reusable low-cost non-invasive glucose meter is developed using wi-fi module. it measures glucose level based on the permittivity changes in human blood with sub-carriers. each sub-carrier is spaced with 312.5 khz bandwidth, generating 64 amplitudes and phases is used for channel estimation. a hampel filter is used to suppress abrupt amplitude variations occurring due to the environment effects. the system is trained using ml.net fast forest quantile regression method. the accuracy obtained is around 90%.

GlucoBalance: Non-Invasive Blood Glucose Monitoring via Multi-Wavelength Optical Spectroscopy and Machine Learning

Diabetes has become one of the critical health problems globally, with rapidly rising prevalence in developing regions. Nevertheless, many people are still dependent on the finger-pricking method to check blood glucose level. This conventional method is painful and inconvenient for daily use, especially for children an...

Continuous glucose monitoring: Expanding beyond diabetes care

Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) changed diabetes care by replacing isolated fingerstick readings with continuous interstitial glucose tracking. Today, improvements in sensor accuracy, enzyme technology, and predictive analytics are taking CGM well past traditional glycemic management. This review highlights how con...

A Novel Instrument for Research and Calibration of Noninvasive Blood Pressure Measurement

Hypertension and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the major causes of death, hospital admissions, and disability in the middle-aged, and regular blood pressure (BP) measurement is one of the simplest and most effective public health interventions available. Yet we know that noninvasive BP (NIBP) devices, ostensibly c...
