Employing Artificial Intelligence in Enhancing English Language Learning (version and Hopes)

Abstract

The study highlights the rising importance of integrating technology and artificial intelligence into English language learning. Although many tools—such as applications, websites, and AI-based conversation agents—claim to make language learning easier, real-world implementation still faces significant challenges. The research aims to clarify the concept of blended learning, outline its forms, examine its impact, identify the challenges limiting its application, and propose ways to overcome them. It also presents a strategic framework for digital transformation in English language education and reviews practical experiences that make effective use of emerging technological opportunities. Using an analytical approach and reviewing previous studies, the researcher derived the definition, importance, and methods of applying blended learning. The findings show that adopting technology has a positive effect on improving learners’ efficiency and language acquisition. The study recommends adopting blended learning in English education, enhancing learners’ technological skills, and making better use of available digital tools and applications. It also examines obstacles such as the digital divide—its causes, effects, and ways to reduce it—and proposes a strategic vision for supporting digital transformation and building robust digital learning platforms that incorporate AI technologies.
