Highlights • Single-cell atlas of lupus nephritis kidneys before and after treatment.• Therapy remodeled interferon and immune-response programs in kidney immune cells.• Myeloid cells shifted from glycolytic inflammation to oxidative metabolism.• 67 genes shared by lupus nephritis and ccRCC map to IFN, HIF-1a and exhaustion.• High inflammatory score predicted worse overall survival in ccRCC patients.
