Abstract
Employee performance is a benchmark for assessing the success of work performance in carrying out duties and responsibilities according to employees' roles within an organization. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously, at the Department of Industry and Trade of Central Lombok Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal research design. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, in which the entire population of 45 employees was selected as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results showed that work motivation had a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance, while work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the analysis indicated that work motivation and work discipline simultaneously influenced employee performance. Based on the simultaneous test results, work discipline was identified as the dominant variable, indicating that improving work discipline is the primary factor in enhancing employee performance at the Department of Industry and Trade of Central Lombok Regency.
