Abstract
The article aims to present the metric qualities of an author’s tool, as well as the changes in self-assessment of competencies developed among students majoring in Social Pedagogy, as established through it. A total of 119 full-time students in the four years of the bachelor’s degree program participated in the study. The study was conducted between October 2024 and January 2025. Results: Factor analysis showed the presence of five competencies with very good internal consistency for each one. There are relatively stable and significant links between the individual competencies, with a statistically significant change in the competencies “Motivation” and “Professional.” As the training progresses, the subjective assessments for “Motivation” and “Personal” increase significantly. Conclusions: The competency self-assessment questionnaire can be used as a reliable tool for measuring change in the context of competency-based training and assessment.
