Abstract
This paper presents the dataset Massive Multitask Language Understanding of Bulgarian Grammar (BulMMLU:gr), modelled on the MMLU (Massive Multitask Language Understanding) benchmark. Its aim is to test the ability of AI grammar-checking applications, as well as different LLMs, to detect grammatical errors in Bulgarian and thus provide a basis for analysing the need for a specialised LLM-based tool to detect such errors and suggest corrections. Experiments conducted with two grammar-checking applications and five LLMs reveal limitations that highlight the need for a new, dedicated Bulgarian grammar-checking system. BulMMLU:gr can be further extended and used both for evaluation and for fine-tuning LLMs for grammatical error detection and correction suggestions.
This model adopted a dual-encoding structure composing of a syntactic encoder and a semantic encoder, and introduced a hybrid attention mechanism in the decoder to show that this model has good GEC performance and is suitable for English writing teaching.

Assessing the broad general knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) across multiple domains in Bulgarian remains challenging due to the limited availability of Bulgarian evaluation benchmarks. To address this gap, we introduce the Bulgarian Massive Multitask Language Understanding benchmark ( MMLU-BG ), designed to e...

We present edition 2.0 of the PARSEME multilingual corpus annotated for multiword expressions (MWEs), resulting from efforts of the PARSEME community towards universality-driven modeling of idiomaticity. With respect to previous editions, we extend the annotation scope to all syntactic MWE categories: verbal, nominal,...
