Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the implementation of local automation for the prevention of instability in the energy system of Western Yakutia. The study is devoted to evaluating the effectiveness of measures to improve the reliability of electricity supply after the merger of the Western Energy District with other regions, which has occurred since 2019. A detailed analysis of the problematic sections of the network has been carried out, including the Aykhal-Udachninskiy district and the Suntarskoe energy ring. Critical points in terms of voltage and throughput have been identified. Calculations and modeling of static and dynamic stability of the power system are performed. The maximum allowable power overflows in the selected controlled sections are estimated. Technical solutions have been developed to modernize the network, including the expansion of the 220 kV substation “Rayonnaya” switchgear and the introduction of a modern stability reserve monitoring system. The introduction of emergency automation made it possible to increase power flows by $\mathbf{5} \div \mathbf{1 5}$% without reducing the reliability of power supply.
RELEVANCE of the study is determined by the need to evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of implementing an automatic emergency response system to ensure energy security in the Western power district of Yakutia, which was isolated from the unified energy system of Siberia and the East until January 2019. The isolated...
