Abstract
Generalizable 3D Gaussian Splatting (G-3DGS) has emerged as a promising approach for novel view synthesis undersparse-view settings. However, existing frameworks remain restricted by pixel-aligned Gaussian estimation, whichstruggles in partially observed or occluded regions and often leads to incomplete surfaces or structural collapse. Toaddress these challenges, we propose SeeU (Seeing the Unseen), a novel G-3DGS framework. We frame its core design asSemantic-in-Gaussian: semantic-conditioned refinement in Gaussian space. Specifically, we introduce a Cross-viewEntropy-Aware (CEA) module that aggregates multi-view semantic and geometric cues into compact embeddings. Theseembeddings guide the Conditional Gaussian Transformer, which applies residual updates to coarse Gaussians, helpingrecover under-constrained regions of partially observed structures while preserving surface consistency. Comprehensiveexperiments on multiple benchmarks demonstrate that SeeU consistently improves rendering quality and structuralcompleteness while retaining efficient feed-forward inference. Especially under challenging extrapolation settings,SeeU achieves an average improvement of 2.44 dB in PSNR compared to recent SOTA G-3DGS methods.
GaussianDS, a depth-supervised semantic 3DGS framework that treats semantic lifting as a supervision-alignment problem and jointly optimizes RGB appearance, rendered depth, and compact semantics from scratch, is proposed.
Training-free weighted aggregation is widely used to lift 2D semantic features onto 3D Gaussians for open-vocabulary scene understanding, yet its theoretical role remains insufficiently understood. Existing analyses typically justify this operation from the rendering side, treating Gaussian features as linearly composa...
This work proposes GroupForward, an instance-grouped feed-forward Gaussian splatting model that reconstructs geometry, appearance, instance structure, and semantics from sparse, unposed, and uncalibrated multi-view images and proposes a Referential Scene Reasoning Framework (RSRF) for complex 3D referring segmentation.

Illusory matches between distinct yet visually similar 3D surfaces--doppelgangers--remain a fundamental obstacle for large-scale, in-the-wild 3D reconstruction and visual localization. Prior work mitigates this issue with pairwise classifiers, but this design limits multi-view contextual reasoning and incurs O(n^2) inf...

Recent advances in 3D Gaussian Splatting have enabled open-vocabulary and referring segmentation by distilling semantic knowledge from 2D foundation models into 3D representations. However, existing referring fields embed language features in a globally view-invariant space, making them fundamentally unable to resolve...
