This work describes a label-free colorimetric immunoassay that initially integrates rolling circle amplification (RCA) with Tyndall effect (TE) characteristics of nucleic acid colloids. Using only a laser pointer and a smartphone, it achieves instrument-free protein quantification with 13-fold higher sensitivity than the conventional optical ELISA.
An extensive analysis of the physical principles of blood composition detection technologies based on optical biosensors and their role in modern medical diagnostics contributes to the development of advanced diagnostic systems and improvement of clinical monitoring efficiency.
A molecularly imprinted g-C3N4/MXene/AuNPs photoelectrochemical sensor was developed for non-invasive sweat lactate detection, achieving a linear range of 1-20 mM and a detection limit of 0.55 mM. Reliable on-body analysis demonstrates its potential for fitness assessment and metabolic monitoring.

By engineering the donor-acceptor scaffold of isoluminol, we developed 2TPA-IsoL, a novel chemiluminescent probe with red-shifted emission (600 nm), high HOCl selectivity, and prolonged kinetics. It enables deep-tissue imaging and therapeutic evaluation of inflammatory bowel disease, offering a generalizable strategy f...
