Abstract
The article studies the theoretical and applied aspects of the impact of digital technologies on the transformation of the operational activities of industrial enterprises. It is established that the digitalization of production is gradually changing traditional approaches to the management of operational processes. It is substantiated that modern digital technologies form a new model of enterprise functioning. The article notes that due to global geopolitical tensions Ukrainian companies must adjust their operational activities. In this environment, companies must increase operational efficiency, develop flexibility, resilience and innovative operational capabilities in order to effectively cope with uncertain and rapidly changing risks based on the conflict situation. In such conditions, it is necessary to ensure the possibility of transforming the organization and conducting operational management using artificial intelligence, ensuring growth and creating the opportunity to work for the long term, taking into account the dynamism and variability of the external environment. A definition of the concept of “digital maturity of a manufacturing enterprise” is proposed, which, unlike existing approaches, is considered as an integral characteristic of the readiness of the operating system to use artificial intelligence technologies. Key areas of application of AI in production have been formed. The article considers the role of artificial intelligence in the transition from traditional manual control to intelligent decision support systems. Particular attention is paid to the practical application of AI. Three key areas of assessment of AI projects before implementation are identified. The feasibility of creating Centers of Excellence to ensure the competitiveness of the enterprise is proven. The developed matrix for assessing the relationship between data management maturity and the success of artificial intelligence implementation serves as a practical tool for assessing the impact of data management maturity on the success of artificial intelligence implementation.
