Kosakonia oryziphila KC516 mediated growth promotion of Cosmos bipinnatus in phosphogypsum by modulating rhizosphere geochemistry and root transcriptome
Investigation of the effects of KC 516 on the phenotypic indices, physiological indices, rhizosphere soil properties, and root gene expression of C. bipinnatus found it promotes the growth of C. bipinnatus in phosphogypsum substrate.
Findings indicate that the tested actinomycetotal strains improved specific plant traits under both controlled and open-field conditions, and moreover align with changes on metabolite profiles.

Sodic stress and soil-borne phytopathogens impose severe dual constraints on alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) production in arid agro-ecosystems. To address these constraints, an alkali-tolerant bacterial strain, Lactiplantibacillus pentosus QC, was isolated and formulated into a quadruple-strain consortium with functional...

Satureja khuzistanica is an endemic medicinal plant of Iran, valued for its essential oil and phenolic compounds, but its cultivation in arid and semi‑arid regions is often limited by salinity stress. This study aimed to evaluate the combined effects of rhizobacterial inoculation (Azotobacter chroococcum+Azospirillum l...
Findings suggest that molasses-enriched siderophore metabolites may act as effective biostimulants by promoting plant growth and mitigating oxidative stress, partly through modulation of rhizosphere microbiome structure and function.

Under global climate change, temperature stress constrains the stable large-scale cultivation of microalgae. Here, we evaluated the role of algal-associated bacteria in the temperature tolerance of Isochrysis zhanjiangensis and identified a functional bacterium with application potential. The presence of the associated...
