Abstract

Chronic cerebral hypoperfusion (CCH) is a major hemodynamic substrate of vascular cognitive impairment and vascular dementia, yet effective therapies with multi‐target neuroprotective potential remain limited. CCH triggers a complex pathological cascade characterized by neurovascular dysfunction, white matter injury, neuroinflammation, oxidative stress, and synaptic impairment.

Acupuncture Attenuates Neuroinflammation Following Acute Cerebral Infarction by Downregulating SPP1 to Ameliorate Immunological Niches

Neuroinflammation following acute cerebral infarction (ACI) critically contributes to disease pathophysiology, with microglia serving as key initial responders. While acupuncture has demonstrated anti‐inflammatory and microglia‐modulating potential, its molecular mechanisms in reshaping immunological niches remain uncl...

The invisible burden of multiple sclerosis: neuropsychiatric presentations and clinical pharmacology challenges

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic central nervous system disease in which inflammation, demyelination, and neurodegeneration play interconnected roles. Successful MS management is not limited solely to suppressing inflammation. Early recognition of psychiatric presentations and meticulous planning of psychopharmacol...
