This article analyzes the lexical-semantic classification of toponyms in the Karakalpak language. The study demonstrates that natural phenomena, flora and fauna, economic activities, color symbolism, religious and mythological beliefs, as well as anthroponyms and ethnonyms, play a crucial role in the formation of toponyms. The findings reveal that toponyms are deeply connected with the historical memory, cultural values, and spiritual heritage of the people.
This article examines the factors contributing to the emergence of contextual phraseological synonyms and their semantic-functional potential in literary texts. The role of context in the formation of phraseological synonyms is substantiated through contextual and componential analysis.
