Zeylenone-mediated inhibition of TIMP-1-induced Bax/Bcl-2/Cle-caspase-3 expression and apoptosis via FAK-PI3K/AKT pathway regulation in thyroid cancer cells: in vitro and in silico study
It is demonstrated that zeylenone suppresses proliferation and promotes apoptosis in TPC-1 cells primarily through suppression of the TIMP-1-mediated FAK/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic candidate for thyroid carcinoma.
Collectively, ART suppresses PC growth, survival, migration, and EMT by targeting the STAT3 and ROS/SHP-1 signaling pathways, supporting its potential as a therapeutic candidate for PC.

It was revealed that BLA could reduce MCF-7 cell viability, adhesion, and migration while elevating intracellular ROS, autophagy, and apoptosis in an amount-dependent way and that BLA may be a natural anti-cancer agent to prevent BC metastasis.

Allicin acts as a pro-oxidant, regulating programmed cell death pathways in BT-549 cancer cells through ROS signaling, and the involvement of reactive oxygen species in regulating these signaling pathways is indicated.
