Abstract

This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) that incorporate the Snakes and Ladders game. The primary objective is to examine its impact on the Arabic vocabulary comprehension of seventh-grade students at MTs Miftahussalam in Medan. This study was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method, specifically the 4-D model, which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The final result of this study is a Student Worksheet (LKPD) created by combining Arabic vocabulary material with the Snakes and Ladders game. Consequently, students can be more active in their learning. Data were collected through various methods, such as observation, interviews, expert validation, student feedback questionnaires, and pre- and post-test assessments. The research results indicate that the worksheets utilizing the Snakes and Ladders game as a medium were deemed highly suitable. The overall suitability percentage reached 89,17%. In terms of content, the score was 90%. In terms of the medium, the score was 92,5%. In terms of language, the score was 85%. Thus, this worksheet meets the required criteria. This product is suitable for use in teaching Arabic vocabulary to seventh-grade students. In the pilot study, 31 students participated in this research. Test results showed a pre-test average score of 10,55. After participating in the instruction, the average increased to 12,48. Thus, there was an increase of 1,94 points.
