Reimagining Marketing Management through the Integration of Artificial Intelligence, Brand Authenticity, and Consumer Trust to Build Competitive Advantage in the Era of Intelligent Algorithm-Driven Digital Search
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming marketing management by enabling data-driven decision-making, personalization, automation, and intelligent digital search. However, technological capability alone does not necessarily establish consumer relationships or sustainable competitive advantage in contemporary digital marketing ecosystems. This study examines the integration of AI, brand authenticity, and consumer trust as interconnected dimensions of marketing management in an algorithm-driven digital environment. A library research approach was employed using books, peer-reviewed journal articles, research reports, and previous studies as primary and secondary literature sources. Data were collected through literature review and analyzed using content analysis to identify concepts, relationships, theoretical perspectives, and research gaps. The findings indicate that AI functions as a technological enabler, brand authenticity strengthens identity and differentiation, while consumer trust supports relational acceptance and reduces uncertainty. Their integration provides a conceptual pathway through which organizations can transform technological intelligence into distinctive and sustainable competitive advantage in contemporary digital marketing ecosystems.
