Abstract

Natural enemies of Hyblaea puera (Cramer), a pest of Tectona grandis and Avicennia marina , were surveyed for the first time in mainland China. One larval parasitoid, five pupal parasitoids and two predators were discovered in recent years. A gregarious and koinobiont endoparasitoid, Cotesia hyblaea sp. nov ., is described. Images of all the natural enemies are provided. Type specimens are deposited in the Natural History Museum of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, Beijing, China.
